The FICCAB recovers its most international facet this year by granting a 'Children of Benalmádena' trophy to one of the most iconic faces of Ibero-American cinema: the Cuban actor and director Jorge Perugoría. The award of leadership to a great national audiovisual, Carlos Iglesias, for its facet as director. And the Cortoman prize, created for those creators or audiovisual companies who have been able to rely on the short genre of the cinema, has been in the versatile Malagasy Rafael Robles' Rafatal,

A tour of high interest and stimulating vision that will bring to Benalmádena a creative air from a country as close as it is loved.
The exhibition will show winning materials from the last editions of FIC Gibara 2018 and 2019 by selecting five short films of different themes and genres. The idea is to show the contemporary Cuban panorama available throughout the festival.
