On the night of November 2, 1975, the Italian filmmaker, writer and multifaceted artist and intellectual Pier Paolo Pasolini was killed in Rome. It was the symbol of revolutionary art that fights against power. His writings were scandalous; his films were pursued by the censors. He was as loved as he was hated. On that day, Pasolini had spent his last hours with his mother and friends; at night he went to the street in search of a new and risky sexual adventure. At dawn, his body was found on a beach in Ostia, just outside the city.
