With this award, FICCAB wants to highlight the career of Echevarría, capable of giving voice through the chamber of marginalized communities and visibilizing issues such as gender identity and sexual diversity. We want to highlight how it has brought freshness and authenticity to Spanish independent cinema while combining social sensitivity with intimate and powerful narratives
