CICLO "RECALLING..."

FEDERICO FELLINI and PAUL LUKAS

On 31 October 1993, he died in Rome Federico Fellini, one of the most personal and renowned directors of the history of cinema. For that reason, and to pay tribute to him, FICCAB wants to remind him just the day the 30th anniversary of his death is celebrated.

FICCAB pays tribute to actor Paul Lukas, who lived in our municipality in the 1960s and is buried in the cemetery of Benalmádena. This tribute is made just when the fifty years of the tribute that Benalmádena International Author's Film Week wanted to make in 1972, and which could not be made by different circumstances. Paul Lukas has a wide track record in Hollywood's classic cinema, having obtained the Golden Globe and the Oscar in 1943 (taking it away from no more or less than Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca) for the film Alarm in the Rhin, which FICCAB will project as a tribute to this legend of the seventh art.
